In other news, Subtle Seb Vettel returns, Fernando’s got injured thumbs, Max DNFed, George got third (& won’t let you forget), McLaren scored double points (but Lando thinks it’s short-lived), Lance Stroll is the Canadian Menace of the Week, and Alex Albon is a Tyre Whisperer (but has no idea how he managed this). The Spa Grand Prix was a cold rainy mess, seemingly to no one's shock but the FIA's. Sure, we gave it the old college try and got a couple riveting laps in. But mostly, today's GP was like watching a nature documentary about the world's greatest racing drivers just exist on a rainy Belgian tundra. If you were hung(a)ry for more racing, then the Hungarian GP was the all-you-can-eat buffet of races. A mere drizzle turned the track into a bowling alley right in lap 1. What a cheeky little weekend in Silverstone! Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton got into a bit of an argy-bargy on track. Which Christian and Toto carried off track (there were emails involved). Mercedes and Red Bull dramz aside, we had some spectacular race-y racing from our favourite Disney Prince Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, and more. Plus, Lewis finally brought it home.

This week, we use Will Ferrell's groundbreaking satire Talladega Nights as a vehicle to delve deep into motorsport culture and how sponsorships work. The film depicts the brutal collision of two sides of the motorsport world through the personification of NASCAR and Formula One. The two main characters Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) and Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) deftly bring this juxtaposition to life to show us that no matter the (many, many) differences, the two worlds have more in common than meets the eye. James Hunt, played by Chris Hemsworth, was F1's resident playboy (he was no Thor, but he certainly did his fair share of hammering). We're obsessed with the story and we hope you'll love it as well. We're also low key obsessed with Niki now? Certainly, he is the one man who could make our favorite Austrian trio (Arnold, Toto, & Captain Von Trapp obvs) a wholesome foursome.
